We are constantly working on minimising our impact on the environment.
For this, we have eliminated plastic bottles in favor of water fountains, accessible to all.
All our rooms are fitted with systems that automatically cut off the power when guests take their key card out of the electricity slot. What’s more, the B!RGIT sign is turned off at midnight every night to give our planet a bit of a break.
We also want to support guests making lifestyle changes, which is why electric vehicle charging facilities will be available on-site from 2023.

To further reduce our waste, we charge a refundable deposit on bar glasses.

The team at Hotel B!RGIT Le Havre welcomes your support in improving our environmental footprint.
We raise funds for Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque – a non-profit that enables children with heart defects to undergo surgery in France – through the “Good For Kids” initiative.
But we can’t do it without you! To take part, just let reception know that you don’t want your room to be cleaned after the first night of your stay and we will donate the money we save to Good For Kids.
Our team has also taken part in environmental initiatives such as World Cleanup Day, which involved picking up rubbish on beaches around the region.
